I am an Integrative Counsellor, offering extensive expertise as a clinical supervisor, spanning over 25 years clinical experience, providing supervision to trainee counsellors whilst they are studying and on placement, and to more experienced and qualified therapists. My supervisory experience has been within clinic settings, national charities, schools and further education colleges, both within state and private education, and within my own private practice. I also supervise other supervisors’ clinical supervision, which includes group supervision.

I have supported a number of counsellors through the BACP accreditation process, with success.

I have a specialism in working with children, young people and families. Other interests are the neurosciences, trauma models, attachment theory, systemic theory, resilience, and mindfulness techniques. My practice is informed by Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy training, particularly around work with Looked After Children (LAC) and foster carers.

I have a sound knowledge and experience of Safeguarding and Child Protection Issues, with past experience of working as a counsellor with NSPCC, and many years supervising school counsellors in both state and private education, family counsellors and other professionals working with vulnerable children, young people and adults, including Looked After Children.

I offer face-to-face supervision or online via Zoom.
