Maria Wilch (MA and Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling, BACP REGISTERED Accredited Counsellor, and highly experienced Clinical Supervisor)

My practice Sussex Counselling Service offers friendly, confidential and non-judgmental counselling within peaceful consulting rooms within a village setting just outside Lewes, surrounded by the South Downs, with easy parking.

We all experience times in our lives when we feel challenged, confused, distressed and stressed, but most of the time we can manage and get through these difficult times, often with support from others close to us. However, sometimes we benefit from neutral professional support.

Counselling is a way of taking responsibility for your own emotional wellbeing, it takes strength to reach out and gain support at times in our lives when we need it. How many counselling sessions you want is your decision, and something we can discuss at the initial assessment session. It can be short or longer term.

Some of the issues people bring to counselling are :-

Bereavement and Grief

Loss generally

Low Self Esteem

Low Confidence

Past Childhood Issues

Eating Disorders

Major Life Transitions

Personal Development

Coping with Illness.
